Ranks & Regulations

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on LHR Gaming. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. LHR Community Statement

    1. We are LHR Gaming. We are a mature Xbox One gaming community, founded in 2008, based on loyalty, honor, and respect. These are not just words to us, these are our ideals. Through these principles, we bring order to the chaos of online gaming, while still having fun. Thank you for joining us and welcome to LHR Gaming, your community. #
  2. LHR Community Policies

    1. 1. In order to maintain a cohesive community, members may not be a part of any other communities while in LHR.

      2. All members of LHR must be 18 years of age or older.

      3. In order to maintain a mature environment, gamertags cannot contain any drug, hate, or sexual references.

      4. Members must limit their registration to one account. Multiple accounts will be removed without notice. Members may not register other members on the website.

      5. Forum username and xbox live gamer tag must match at all times.

      6. Members must appear online at all times on xbox live. #
  3. LHR Code of Conduct

    1. 1. LHR is a mature Xbox One gaming community open to all people aged 18 or older, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender. Any harassment, discrimination, hate speech, bigotry, or intolerance of any kind is unacceptable.

      2. Leaders are appointed to their positions to help provide a safe, positive gaming environment. As such, we do not condone any unlawful activity of any kind and it will not be tolerated.

      3. Changing your gamertag to include LHR is not mandatory, however it is required to hold a leadership position within our community. In order to keep our community mature, gamertags are not to contain blatant drug, sex, hate references, or vulgar language. #
  4. Open Door Policy

    1. Open Door Policy Purpose:

      To address problems that arise within the community in a safe, confidential manner to prevent other members feeling left behind in respect to the resolution of these problems.


      Rules:

      1. If a member has a problem, they can go to someone higher than them to resolve this problem.

      2. A reasonable attempt must be made in order to resolve this problem before the Chain of Command is broken.

      3. Anyone skipped in the chain needs to be informed of the problem if it falls under their jurisdiction. Conversely, the person skipped is not to question the validity of the open door policy being used unless it is deemed resolvable within the Chain of Command.

      4. The problem needs to be handled by a higher leader only if the problem is not resolvable in the offended member's chain of command.

      5. Once it is being handled, the member will not discuss the problem with anyone not involved with its resolution unless directed to do so. #
  5. LHR Ranks

    1. Enlisted Ranks

      Private (PVT) - Registered member of LHR.
      Requirements: Joining an LHR company.

      Corporal (CPL) - An active member that participates in Company activities and aids in Company duties.
      Requirements: Be a part of the LHR Community for a minimum of 2 weeks.

      Sergeant (SGT) - An active member that goes above and beyond in the areas of recruiting and participation.
      Requirements: Be a part of the LHR Community for at least 4 weeks (1 month) and must successfully recruit 1 members into the LHR Community.

      Master Sergeant (MSG) - An active member that goes above and beyond in the areas of recruiting and participation.
      Requirements: Be a part of the LHR Community for at least 6 weeks (1.5 months) and must successfully recruit 3 members into the LHR Community, or acquired a LHR Gamer tag and be appointed to this rank by your company commander.

      Sergeant Major (SGM) - A member of LHR who is dedicated to the community and wishes to seek leadership roles within the community.
      Requirements: Be apart of the LHR Community for at least 2 months, acquire a LHR Gamer tag, and successfully recruit 3 members into the LHR Community. #
    2. Officer Ranks

      Second Lieutenant (2LT) - These are gamers who have exhibited leadership skills and abilities and have decided to step up to the next level of leadership. Theses are officers in training and assist the First Lieutenant.
      Requirements: Be a part of the LHR Community for at least 8 weeks (2 months) and successfully recruit a minimum of 4 people.

      First Lieutenant (1LT) - This rank is awarded to those members who have displayed an aptitude for leadership. The job of a Lieutenant is to assist hes/her Captain in any way necessary to facilitate the efficient running of their Company.
      Requirements: Be part of the LHR Community for at least 12 weeks (3 months) and fulfillment of the 2LT rank for at least 1 month. Also to obtain this rank the person must successfully recruit a minimum of 6 people.

      Captain (CPT) - This rank is awarded to those members who have displayed an aptitude for leadership. The job of a Captain is to assist his/her Major in any way necessary to facilitate the efficient running of their Company.
      Requirements: Be a part of the LHR Community for at least 16 weeks (4 months) and fulfillment of the 1LT rank for at least 1 month. Also to obtain this rank the person must successfully recruit a minimum of 9 people.

      Major (MAJ) - The role of the Major in LHR is to run every aspect of his/her Company. They are responsible for scheduling practices, meetings, training, and ensuring a positive gaming environment for every member of their Company in LHR.
      Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Captain rank and be a part of the LHR Community for at least 20 weeks (5 months) and fulfillment of the CPT rank for at least 1 month. Also to obtain this rank the person must successfully recruit a minimum of 9 people. #
    3. Senior Officer Ranks

      Lt. Colonel (LTC) - This rank is awarded to those members who have successfully run a company and displayed the ability to multi task. The role of a Lt. Colonel in LHR is to run every aspect of his/her battalion. They are responsible for scheduling meetings, training, as well as honing the skills of his/her leaders and ensuring a positive gaming environment for every member of the battalion.
      Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Major rank and demonstrated the ability to run more than one company at a time, and be a part of the LHR Community for at least 24 weeks (6 months) and fulfillment of the MAJ rank for at least 1 month.
      Additionally this is the rank you must achieve in order to put a 6 designator in your gamer tag.

      Colonel (COL) - The role of a Colonel is LHR is to run every aspect of his/her regiment. They are responsible for scheduling meetings, training new leaders, as well as honing the skills of his/her leaders, along with running the battalions in his regiment and ensuring a positive gaming environment for every member in his/her regiment.
      Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Lt. Colonel rank and be a part of the LHR Community for at least 32 weeks (8 months) and fulfillment of the LTC rank for at least 2 months.

      General (GEN) - This rank is awarded to the leader that demonstrated not only the ability to multi task, but to coordinate and train other leaders. The responsibility of a General is to oversee his/her Division in all aspects.
      Requirements: Be a part of the LHR Community for at least 10 months, fulfillment of the COL rank for at least 2 months and must positively maintain his/her division with at least 2 battalions. #
  6. Forums Rules

    1. The Forum Rules and Guidelines are intended to help foster friendly, respectful and pleasant interaction. Therefore you are required to abide by these rules. Also, please note that individual forums may apply additional specific rules (in sticky threads). If you do not agree with any of the contents thereof, then please do not use our website, nor the forums.


      Members will be kind and courteous, and respectful to other members and the moderators. No direct or indirect personal attacks or insults of any kind will be allowed. Posts which antagonize, belittle or humiliate other members and/or the moderators will not be tolerated, nor will racism, sexism, bigotry or foul language.

      Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning.

      Members are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Community Team. Please use the “post report” feature to report posts. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who constantly “act” as moderators may be warned.

      Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning or removal.

      Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, etc. or re-printing material without permission will receive a warning and their post will be removed.

      Members are asked only to post in English, as this is an English speaking community. Localised support is available at the international support sites.

      Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Users consistently abusing this will be warned.

      Members should use an appropriate, descriptive subject when posting a new topic.

      Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed.

      Power posting of any kind will not be tolerated. Power posting is best described as posting empty and worthless messages and posting repeatedly to increase post count. Users consistently power posting may be given a warning.

      The moderating, support and other teams reserve the right to edit, remove or put on moderation queue any post at any time. Please note that currently any very first post is automatically placed in the moderation queue and will be approved/disapproved according to the present Rules. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users.

      The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging. #
